ITA – Internet Technologies Angola inaugurated its new head office in Luanda, at Lar do Patriota. It is a new building that had an investment of 12 million USD and has the latest technology, with the highest international standards of quality and technical efficiency, allowing an improvement in the delivery of the services of the company. The inauguration was attended by the Hon. Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technolog, Eng . José Carvalho da Rocha, and other representatives of official bodies.
The new building of ITA is inscribed on a gross area of 2.300 m2 which has its headquarters in particular, the new Data Center, which guarantees customers a continuous and secure connection through redundancy and reliability systems; NOC – Network Operations Center – where the entire network is supervised through 12 screens of 55 ‘ ‘ and 16 permanent working posts ; one teleport with five antennas of terrestrial station ; a transmission and a power room. The new headquarters also has two fuel tanks of twenty thousand liters each, three 700Kva’s generators, a canteen and a bar for the employees. This investment makes ITA 100 % independent from an infrastructure perspective and its new location allows you to be closer to business centers.
“Still for the first semester of 2016 it is expected to implement some projects, such as the opening of new headquarters in Huambo, and increased service and coverage in Huambo, Kuito, Cabinda.” Refers Rolf Mendelsohn, CEO of ITA. “We are also investing in solar energy to reduce dependence on fuel, increase competitiveness and reduce environmental footprint.”
